Anna is a Spectrum-accredited UKCP registered psychotherapist. Since 1989, she has worked at Spectrum with individuals, couples and groups. She also has a supervision practice working with psychotherapists on an individual and group basis.
Anna is a staff member of the post-graduate course in psychotherapy and the post-graduate continued education programme. She is a founder and co-leader of Developing Clinical Skills and the Mapping Psychotherapy workshops.
She has co-ordinated Spectrum’s training programme since 1997 and has been a Spectrum core staff member since 1994.
Anna worked in adult education for many years, initially as a tutor. Subsequently she established, operated and managed community-based advice and counselling services on education and training for adults. She later managed a team developing policy for work with unemployed adults in inner London, while also running training programmes in the statutory and voluntary sectors.
Anna first became involved with humanistic psychology in the 1970’s through psychodrama, transactional analysis and transpersonal psychology. Between 1990 and 1996, Anna trained with the Spectrum/Miami Gestalt Institute in London and America. Her work has subsequently been profoundly influenced by formative psychology.
Anna bases her work on the development of awareness; awareness of the physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual dimensions of our lives and how these support personal empowerment. She is particularly interested in using this lens in working with dreams.
