How Cathy works

Cathy will work with you to support and guide your exploration of what’s not working in your life and find ways of helping you get more satisfaction. Cathy is a humanistic counsellor and psychotherapist and regards each client as the expert on them self. Cathy is interested in working with the whole of you, your knowledge and your confusion, your joy and your pain, with the aim of supporting you to know more of yourself; with that increased awareness comes the possibility of change. Cathy is empathetic and challenging; she is good-willed and will act in your best interests. Cathy doesn’t have a one-size-fits-all approach, she believes we are each unique; She will get to know you as an individual and work with you in the way that best supports you.
Sessions are completely confidential. Cathy adheres to the code of ethics and practice of both Spectrum and The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
