Paul has a private practice working with individuals, couples and groups. He also provides supervision for individuals and groups and is an organisational trainer and facilitator.
He is a qualified social worker and has trained in gestalt therapy over many years with both national and international therapists. In addition, he participated on the Spectrum/Miami Gestalt Institute training programme held in the U.S.A. and England from 1990 to 1996. He also has extensive experience in a variety of humanistic therapies. In 1988 he became a member of the Spectrum staff. He is a founder member of the Spectrum Incest Intervention Project and a tutor on the Spectrum foundation course in counselling skills.
Paul brings to his work a wide variety of experiences from working with people in different settings over many years. He is particularly interested in supporting choice and appropriate self-expression through emotional, physical and intellectual awareness.
In 1989, with his wife Oriel, he completed PAIRS training in the U.S.A and is a staff member on the PAIRS team at Spectrum. In 1991, Paul completed the Spectrum post-graduate course and ten month supervision course at Metanoia. He is also a member of the Thursday men for men group run by Terry Cooper.
Paul is a graduate of the Spectrum training programme, a training advisor on the programme and an on-going member of the post-graduate programme.
