The men for men programme provides group experiences for men in which they can explore a variety of issues such as interpersonal relationships, identity and gender, improving self management and the working through of life scripts and injunctions that can inhibit personal growth and relationship development. Recurring issues include dealing with pain, learning to manage feelings of vulnerability, growing the skill to be in touch with and touched by all aspects of life, learning to regulate satisfying contact, managing conflict and power struggles and learning to communicate needs in a satisfying way.
The men for men programme is under the direction of Terry Cooper. Terry leads three on-going men for men groups. One group meets fortnightly on a Thursday evening. The other two meet one day per month from 10am-4.30pm, one on a Monday and the other on a Wednesday. Mike Wibberley, a Spectrum practitioner leads a fortnightly group for men on Monday evenings from 7-9.30pm. Paul Allsop is now leading a new group for men over 50 which meets on Friday mornings. If you would like more information about the men for men programme or advice regarding men's issues please contact Terry.
