Jane is a Spectrum trained UKCP and BACP accredited psychotherapist. She works with individuals and practices at Spectrum. She also works in South West London.
Jane worked for over twenty-five years in I.T. in the private and public sectors. She became involved in personal development at Spectrum in 1993 and joined the one year course in psychotherapy in 2004 both for her personal work and to support her work as a manager. In 2005 Jane joined the Spectrum training programme and decided to train as a psychotherapist. She completed her training, accredited with the BACP in 2010 and with the UKCP in 2011.
Jane’s experience working in large organisations gives her therapeutic work a special focus for people who are managing stress and anxiety in relation to their work.
Jane believes that a trusting therapeutic relationship can support us to engage in our own self-awareness and gain more clarity. When we are clear how we form ourselves in our relationships with individuals, families, employment or the stages of our lives, we understand more vividly our own patterns. This helps us make the changes we seek to live more satisfying lives.
Jane uses a number of therapeutic approaches from humanistic psychotherapy in her work offering individuals a varied and personal way of exploring their issues. She runs a general practice which includes working with self-esteem, anger, anxiety and stress.
